This could be the first good Apocalyptica album since 2005.
I really like this song.

The Melting Snow

Why the low rating? I have heard the album once and really liked some songs. Catharsis has been on repeat

Nothing "deserves" a certain rating. Ratings are earned, with mild fluctuations due to vote abuse 🙄

I found it pretty boring, even though it has some good moments

This is the first album I've listened to by them.

It did not sell me.

Surprisingly good, great riffs and some very epic tracks, not all of them though. I like it very much

About time the drummer learns how to use double bass instead of getting Dave Lombardo to fill the thrashy songs out lol. But this album is very melodic. I'll even dub it a twin to The Seventh Symphony. Very good release.

Where did this come from? As far as I can remember, I have never enjoyed Apocalyptica, not even their earlier outputs. Maybe I'm just too demanding, but I've just felt that there's always been something missing, the first albums didn't even have drums or singer, so they were rather boring to me and then there's this one album where's half of it is just a same song with different lyrics, if I remember correctly. Now they feel complete, finally.

My friend's second cousin plays in this band.
