After the first listen, only "My Kingdom Comes" sticks to the memory. I agree that it's generic and nothing new after their previous effort.

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed myself. It's very straightforward & short. But there are a few gems out of this one. I just think Georg's side project, Phantasma, has been having too much a influence on Serenity's sound since Codex Atlanticus, which sounded like a really good Disney soundtrack lol

It's not bad, but not incredible either. Some songs sound recycled AF while others add a fun new twist.

It's kinds of a grower but not a great release however, I can't say I am dissatisfied. The guitar riffs and solos have certainly improved and are not generic but overall, the songwriting can be more memorable and less generic. My fav track is "Queen Of Avalon".
