Easily one of the weakest album to date. I found Benighted forcefully throwing gnarly slabs out of the studio for the sake of having new music. It made 'Necrobreed' great though it wasn't a good record to being with.
Well, you found a disappointed Benighted fan in me.

I'm in the fourth track and I dont see what's so obviously wrong with this record, I'ld say the songwriting is pretty good, enough variation til now with some really good riffs and hooks. What ruins it for me are the pig squeals and samples, other than that, it sounds better than anything I heard from them since 2011

Finished my 4th spin. Variation was butchered in Necrobreed. So as in here. As far as "good riffs and hooks" are concerned, drag down from "Identisick to Carnivore Sublime" - you gotta tons of absolutely beautiful riffs, gnarls and breakdowns slabs.
I was pretty optimistic to see them coming out of Necrobreed slumber, but as I said, this record made Necrobreed look even great.

Carnivore Sublime was pretty mediocre if I remember correctly, Identisick was ok, but not really memorable. I don't know if this one will stay on my rotation, but for me, it's safe to say that it's better than Carnivore Sublime onwards.
Actually impressive they came with something this fun and catchy after their last efforts

Benighted haven't made a good album since Identistick/Icon, and this is no exception.

This album has some really cool pig squeals. The track "implore the negative" has some anaal nathrakh feelings. I feel the album gets really good in the 2nd half even without the pig squeals. The music is brutal and violent as is expected of the genre. The lead vocalist has got quite a vocal range. However the music does tend to get boring after a few listens.
