"Kvitravn" means "white raven" in Norwegian.

The initial release date was supposed to be June 5, 2020, but due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the world it was postponed to January 22, 2021.

Written and recorded between 2009 and 2020.

Recorded at Fimbulljóð Studio, Solslottet Studio and Saga Studio.

Not sure how this band is on here as there is no metal in it whatsoever. But I do find this the more listenable album of theirs.

We're flexible with including acts on the site that aren't necessarily metal but have ties to metal, and both Einar and Gaahl have backgrounds in Gorgoroth alongside Einar's projects with Ivar from Enslaved that have flirted with metal. Also, the whole Nordic neofolk scene seems to be have been somewhat co-opted by the metal community - lots of metal shirts at the Heilung gig I went to in 2019, and Forndom got an album of the month top 3 last year on Angry Metal Guy's site.
