Most of the orchestral arrangements feel unnecessary to me. It works for Voice Of Treason but then that song had a string arrangement from the start. Other than that I'd say it works well on The Grand Conjuration and Drapery Falls, but only certain moments.

I can see why this is a more obscure release, compared with Devin Townsend who recorded a show with orchestra at the same venue and released it as a DVD. The orchestra works better there.

What the hell is Enslaved doing on this release though? Is it just a studio single version of Storm Son or what?
