I hope they change things up a bit. They, like many successful bands these days, are dying this death of 1,000 cuts. Same shit every album but with a slow degradation in quality.

I mean, with a title like "Metal Commando" what can you realistically expect? :/ I liked all of their records since 2012 (when I discovered them) but it's always a mixed bag when it comes to song quality through an album with them IMO.

New track called I Am Alive. Better than first song, but still disappointing. Primal Fear got boring really quick after decent previous album.

I just listened to the album and it looks pretty good to me. It's Primal Fear at its best. If you want something different then you should turn to another band cause this folks are true to their sound, and they do it very well.

The same old (and great) Primal Fear. Loving "infinity", awesome song.

True and also very cheesy and radio friendly. A big fall from Rulebreaker.

I like CD2 better as 1. Its let down, band sond, vocals, but let down. Seems old dilemma new direction and experiment or play same same same old sound and be let down? Seems band in studio front is not promising, its more live band now. Its a bit softer album, if we can say so.

I have not listened to any of the bonus tracks. The album is good, Primal Fear doing what Primal Fear do, nothing more nothing less. I don't understand what people find wrong about it, it is more of the same (I get that) but when was it not more of the same exactly? Also I don't find it softer at all, to me it is actually heavier, many songs carry a Painkiller vibe, which I personally like a lot.

I think they want band write killer songs as they did before, lyrics, songs what you can jump and jump as whit radio hits, maybe thats why

Solid record, never really had a wow-feeling when listening to it. But nothing that I really disliked either. Fans of the band will enjoy this.

I was a little skeptical prior to its release and despite the band using the formula over and over, this album has some really solid tracks. My favorite tracks are the fast double bass attack songs which show the power metal side rather than the simple hard rock side they create at times. "Halo" & "My Name is Fear" are personal highlights followed by the epic long track "Infinity" which I am happy to see from PF since I am fond of such long epics. Other good tracks are the opener "I Am Alive" & "Howl Of The Banshee".

Overall it's not close to their best but doesn't disappoint at the same time. I think it's slightly better than Apocalypse.

Great album! Really solid. There's no bad song. Perfect production as always. I bought the digipak bonus edition.

I like it, gots some catchy song cool nuances within the drumming, some JP Firepower feels, cool guitar solos

Reading the comments the same thing comes to my mind over and over again: you can't please the 21st century metalhead, no matter what. If a band changes style, why did they change? If a band doesn't change their style, why didn't they change? No matter what a band would do, these days metalheads would still be worst than beliebers. It's Primal Fear, it's power metal at its finest with a brilliant voice and some really talented musicians. What the heck did people expect from this band?

Wow, Infinity, their last track and it's their best one. The length is just perfect, even when you think it is already over, there comes the perfect ending.

This album feels like it's going on autopilot, sure it's competent but it's boring. Huge step down from the really strong Apocalypse
