"The world is not doing well at the moment [?]" So the explanatory blurb greets me when I look over the promotional materials heralding the latest abomination from Gnaw Their Tongues. This innocent truism comes to us by way of justification for the album's rather dire tone, as if the world smelling of roses would put an end to this nightmare factory.

Gnaw their tongues have been lurking in and out of my feeds for some time and I finally got around to try them. And boy, I wasn't disappointed. This music is one of the most jarring I have experienced in a while. This is extremely noise heavy. The thick bass in the track "to rival death in beauty" is very palpable. This is one of the most devastating music I have ever heard.
