Aerial Ruin's Erik Moggridge has been a part of Bell Witch's sound, appearing on every album since 2012's Longing, and he's performed with them live on numerous occasions, especially when performing Mirror Reaper in full. But he was never really like a 3rd member. He's still not the third member of Bell Witch, but Stygian Bough: Volume I finds all three on more equal footing than ever.

Not as exited as I was before MR, slight disappointment that and imo there was more than enough collaboration on that album already. I would prefer something more sinister, more death or sludge to create some dynamics, but maybe the album after this can do that.

Pre released single is fairly boring, but might just be my current mood. However I really wished they'd mix things up a bit this time around. I think they explored most of the sound they had before already.

It doesn't seem all that exciting at first listen, but maybe it's a grower.
