All Shall Perish have only been around for a short while, but in the time span of only two albums, they've progressed in a way some bands never do. With their first release "Hate, Malice, Revenge" I saw these guys as just another decent but not too exciting hardcore band, and after a few listens I simply tossed the album a side and forgot about it. Fast forward a year and we have the new album "The Price of Existence", and I can tell you right off the bat that there has been some major progression with this band in such a short while.

I am not really into deathcore at all anymore, but this is one of those bands that is at least genuinly talented! They are one of the few deathcore bands that actually stuck with me.

Best deathcore album with Consumed by your Poison from Despised Icon. All Shall Perish and Despised Icon are the kings of deathcore! It really is a shame that deathcore has turned into a genre with incredibly boring and predictable breakdowns (+ increasing whiny clean vocals). Deathcore could have become one of the best subgenres ever in extreme music. The slam death metal/slamcore bands and also some of the progressive deathcore bands are pretty good as well (e.g. Born of Osiris - The Discovery), but too many bands just rely on breakdowns. Heaven Shall Burn is one of the best metalcore bands out there (again they use breakdowns wisely). All Shall Perish actually places the breakdowns in parts where they are relevant. The music is also technical and Eddies vocals are awesome on this album. I really don't like to bash music genres. There really are gems in deathcore and metalcore. If you think all deathcore is bad, please give this album a chance. You won't be disappointed
