An incredibly emotional and atmospheric album. You can hear the sorrow dripping for his vocals. Mostly slow but occassional bursts of energy/anger. An album which needs wayyy more attention. Seriously incredible

Yeah, after all it's Antimatter's Mick Moss.
However, in retrospect I think that something is missing here. It hurts to say that, but Mick Moss without Duncan Patterson is just a voice. Granted, he delivers one of the most beautiful and touching vocal performances in rock - not just here, he always does - but still, it's only his voice adding an exceptional quality to this album.
I only wish he would not just be an outstanding singer but also an exceptionally gifted songwriter, then this would have easily been my album of the year 2014.

if I remember right Duncan left after the second Antimatter album and a lot of great music came from Antimatter since then.

That's true, but he still wrote half of the tracks for the third album Planetary Confinement.

Well, I guess it's a matter of taste.
I truly adore their first three albums, each of them to the same extent (expressed in numbers: 9/10), and I also consider Leaving Eden to be a very good offering, but their subsequent discography didn't do anything for me. I didn't even bother to rate their recent albums and despite of quite a few attempts of getting into the post-Patterson-phase, I find it very difficult to name only one outstanding song from their later albums, let alone to remember any melody or passage that somehow sticked out.
