Only discovered Wake this year with nik's review of Devouring Ruin, but it's a 2/2 success rate so far, this is a great release, in particular Disparity And Chaos. They weave the post-rock elements staggeringly well into the fury of Beyond Empyrean

I like the Devouring Ruin album more but they have really evolved so much regardless. I saw their original post on Facebook for this EP a day before this got released. They had a photo of theirs saying something along the lines of "if this photo gets more than 420 likes we will post new music tomorrow". And when the likes kept coming they posted "if it reaches 666 likes we will release the whole thing". You now know how the whole thing got released without any teaser song first.

Pleasant post-black with a touch of death metal.
