I have never been an avid listener of this band but always kept my eye on them since I am a fan of vocalist Jonne Järvelä's eponymous side project, some of which seems to have finally crept into Korpiklaani. At its best, this is a heavy, inventive, and irresistibly zany album. Sadly, the wide variety of influences and wonderful storytelling on display here are overshadowed by an overlong runtime and a lack of editing within the songs themselves. "Murder your darlings."

This sounds like heavy party energising music before you did score second time and need motivation to cum. Seems you need to be a fin to understand this band. Language somehow again makes small borers here.

I expected this to be an easy 1-2 rating but I like the more atmospheric folk approach here compared to their usual cheesy bulls**t antics. However, the hard rock elements are extremely bad so not going to listen further than the first track. They should just dump their guitarists really.

- The artwork is nice, similar to Kulkija, Noita and Manala.
- The album is not too good... :/ like Kulkija...

Leväluhta - Not bad
Tuuleton - with the music video: maybe not bad; without video: eh
Sanaton Maa - I like it! One of the best songs on the album for me.
Pohja - I like it too.

- So... I like 2 songs from 13. Some songs is not bad, but... I don't know. It's not much overall.
I don't know why, but the best Korpiklaani albums were made for a year... except "Voice Of Wilderness". But Tales Along This Road, Tervaskanto, Korven Kuningas and Karkelo... they were created in one year! And the last "one year" album: Manala. Manala is the last REALLY good album from Korpiklaani (for me). The flute is really missing too.
- I'm not crying back from "drinking" songs. (those were good too) Korpiklaani has many good and beautiful songs without "drink-theme" (like Tervaskanto, Korven Kuningas).
- I really hope the next album is coming back to the GOOD (!) older times.... and not three years later... "one year"-albums the best.

I don't think I will.

I think we need to let people decide. Do we want RaduP's naked pics in a sauna? Thumbs up if yes.

There are a bunch of surprisingly great songs here considering the impression I have had of the band earlier, but the album is way too long. I quite enjoy the unhinged aspects in songs such as "Verikoira" and "Huolettomat", and the ska-folk in "Leväluhta" has been a blast since it was released as a single.

I tried to click on the word rate for this album ( and many others) but the website has a problem in it's HTML CSS JS and it won't cast it.

And the tracklist only in Finnish fits well on their music. I Love this album. Iknow they changed a bit their sound to be liked by the South America continent and Center and North America too. The taste in music in that continent is too different tnan European Taste.

So this album is okay. I don't know if I'm going to buy it yet. The drumming is pretty cool particularly in "Verikoira". There are some catchy choruses and fun solos, but I have to agree with some of you that it does drag a little towards the end. I had a hard time staying engaged.
