Brutal Death Metal with knack is what Yyrkoon does best. Those guys brought something original to the scene with their 2004's "Occult Medicine", which has become one of my favorite albums. Now, they are doing it again with "Unhealthy Opera", still released through Osmose Productions, and once again produced at the legendary Hansen Studios in Denmark.

A bad album imo. i appreciate a lot their style and i really find their sound unique but no song managed to make me say "wow"... and it's bad when it happens... "unhealthy opera" and "of madness" are probably the best "average" songs...

it's "bad" cause i expected much more. as i said it is unique and i like their style a lot. but you read 1 word out of the 50.

so i read it again. i say it is bad. then i say it is not outstanding but i like it's style and appreciate that it is different from the maze.. surely my rating is high but that's how i rate albums while at the same time and i am not like those guys who give everyday 10's...
