Groovy sludge eclipsed by frightening atmosphere. The trance you're in while listening to this is unreal. I hope in future releases they put out more albums leaning toward the S-class black ambience found in the first track. The thing holding this back, however, is the standard black metal.

Thick sound, very good. Missed these guys. Not as abrasive as I remember Morinde being, but it good. The titles are hilarious.

If this came out between Morinde and Lede I would have loved the fuck out of it. I'm not really listening to this kind of thing lately but it's a great listen. Wouldn't want to miss an opportunity to see some of this stuff live if concerts are ever a thing again.

I agree that the most interesting aspect of this is the ambient BM vibes of the first track

Looks more like a hare to me. (Yeah I'm being picky, sorry).
The best track is the first one most likely. But other interesting aspects is the big PUNK feeling you get with the middle tracks. It's something they haven't done a lot of. Specially with the tempo and drumming.
Really vicious stuff. Review coming soon.

This is what I imagine Hypnos falling from Olympus, breaking every bone in his body getting swallowed into the ground screaming would sound like. And there's a hare hopping around somewhere in that image too. I don't know why, it doesn't make any sense, but that's the image. Pretty good record, a very visceral, driving kind of gloom, might listen again.
And I agree with the bass lick, they be good.
