my experience with them has been somewhat poisoned, much as I love IE, much as I love Schaffer as a musician. Seems like he might have his conviction thrown out pretty soon, but the damage has already been done.
@Metren: I feel similarly. It's a fantastic composition but the last time I listened to it I started hearing the lyrics in a different way. Now there are some Iced Earth songs that just draw me back to Schaffer's ideology and
Varg is and will forever be a major dingus, but yes, his writings and videos were both hilarious simply for the sake of morbid curiosity if nothing else
01. Wolves At The Door 02. Presto Vivace In C# Minor 03. Relentless Fury 04. (Si Vis Pacem) Parabellum 05. Eternal Bliss 06. Toccata 07. God Particle 08. Magic Bullet 09. (Fight) The Good Fight 10. Sea Of Tranquility
Huh, this album sounds really awful, judging by these songs it's just mainly your basic aimless neoclassical wankery and cookie cutter comping with terrible production quality. And I really like some of his older stuff.

You've got a lot of guts. Let's see what they look like!
4 songs in and I've just heard it all before on other albums, especially from his last few. It all just blends into one big poorly produced mush of runs, poor vocals, and wide vibrato. Completely bored by Yngwie now and haven't really enjoyed anything since Attack! which I have just realised was nearly 2 decades ago...
Equally bad as World On Fire and Spellbound. It's so boring, predictable and mindless. The only song here that is worth listening to is Relentless Fury, which is actually a really good track.

I'm looking forward to seeing your Yngwie album ranking list.

The only great Yngwie album is his debut, if you ask me, the sophomore is good. The rest... nothing special.

Still need to listen to Angels of Love and Blue Lightning and the debuts of Alcatrazz and Steeler but then i'm finally done. I need a break from Yngwie

Angels of Love is a compilation of re-worked ballads.
Blue Lightning is terrible, like any of his latter day works.
Obviously you need a break but kudos for sticking with it. I bet it was hard.
