The last time I checked something by this band I though "wow, this guy has really good ideas", that was last year if I remember correctly. Now I am hearing a new demo from Sathur, a demo that sounds quite different from what I was used to hear with Shores Of Sheol. Sathur seems to have switched influences; while his first demo was packed with aggressive Black Metal in the vein of Darkthrone, Beherit and Von, this new piece focused on melodies and musical skills (just as "In Harmony With The Dead"). The raw edge is all over the place (mostly in the first track), actually it's almost impossible not to notice it with a production as dried as this one, but that's another issue that will be stated later, still the last 2 songs have a different approach when it comes to harmony and melody; both tracks focus on stretched riffs and mid-paced tempos to create a more digestible sound.
