Seems to me that some of you forgot they turned to atmospheric Rock since 2001. The last 3 albums (including Hindsight) were really good in the general opinion, and this one is not exception. I like the early Anathema, but I really like what they have become in the last few years as well.
they had really good lyrics, they were not about I love you I love I love, Anathema has lost their little respect which was left in metal community. I really cant love a band who is against its Past. do you know what ''A Simple Mistake'' means to me? they mean their whole career was a simple mistake! take a look at the 100% opposite lyrics of the song. ''we are just a moment in time''. then go to hell and find new fans.

can't get a message through if you don't speak in their language. i may be immature too in many ways, but it doesn't get any more retarded than someone thinking that anathema has to do what their "fans" want and only sing about misery and sadness. at least i'm not a type of person who would have a problem with people finding happiness in their lives, like some 13 year old tough guy wannabe who thinks love is for girls and sissies

Worst anathema album for me.I don't know why but I think that is an album with no pasion. I have listen this album many times but still I have the same opinion. It's like I listen to Coldplay or U2. I love them but , ok , I just don't like this album. And I hate when they say 'this is our best album'..  Eternity ? Silent Enigma ? Alternative 4 ? Judgement ?
Weather systems is better for me. ( the lost child is one of the best song of their carrer in my opinion)

For me 'real' anathema is all the albums from serenades to a natural disaster. I don't care if they are heavy or not. But whbwh is all about 'atmosphere' and nothing more! After 7 years of waiting I expected something much better!

And the lyrics ... 'all that I know is I love you , yes I love you!' They know how to write epic lyrics but the lyrics of this album are bad for me. I don't understand your enervation. We just say our opinion about an album!

Agree!!! I remember when they used to write awesome lyrics..huge poetry!They have great love songs with great lyrics (angelica , are you there , inner silence etc. For me, 'inner SIlence' is a perfect love poem!) but 'thin air' ? What a joke..

I don't think it's a joke at all. It is just something different. If you like "Inner Silence" go listen to Alternative 4. Change doesn't always need to be so painful
