Classic sample of a twofold album. Great moments here and there giving contrast to bad moments here and there. + a bit of humorous.

I love this album to bits.
It's true, it's not extreme balls to the wall metal (many people often say they lost a large portion of their fanbase through this rather soft approach) but then again I'll listen to Suffocation for that. The ballads are cheesy at times but still work due to Jeff's unique guitar playing and Aaron's vocals IMO were the best Annihilator ever had to offer.
The vast majority of songs such as 'Knight Jumps Queen' are among the catchiest tunes I've ever heard in music and if the album's direction was any bit heavier it just wouldn't work.
It may not be perfect, but it's still a very solid album.

I listened to this album yesterday; i haven't listened to it for a really long time. I enjoyed it a lot, the guitar work is great.

This album is for Annihilator what Black album was for Metallica - the same controlled-mainstream-decay of once-thrashing-jugernaut. The chronology would suggest that they may be inspired by Metallica's at the time two years old "successful breakthrough". Disappointment for me.
Edit: I have just noticed that the year 1993 is for Annihilator already marked as Heavy metal - that is mindful recognition MS.

What a disappointing album ! After the awesome Never, Neverland, this one is a joke (I hope). It's still listenable but it sounds like an insult when you compare it to the 2 albums before.
