Where was I?...oh yeah I was trying to stay at least steady and standing after that Pig Destroyer assault, damn that was amazing. But something chilled me out and I can't even remember what was it, I don't even recall tossing a Dillinger Escape Plan in my stereo and this is just annoying...hell! I don't own a Dillinger Escape Plan CD in the first place...so what is this? *opening the CD tray*...OH MY FUCKING GOD!

This album has a more simplistic approach to its sound and structure than on previous CC releases, and unfortunately thats why it sounds boring and average to me as well. The Hydro-Grind influences are still there, and sometimes do work perfectly, but with virtually every song sounding as lacklustre as the one before, it is far from the band's best. The second half of the album becomes a bit more interesting than the first, but that is with repeated listens as well.
