09:33 - Cynic Metalhead Scape, you "us", broke all the records of showing up. From the next time, i'll keep in mind wearing Cannibal Corpse when my stinking dean hands me over the PG degree.
06:11 - scapeplan I didn't realize that my graduation yesterday was supposed to be formal, and wore my Slayer shirt. Heh.

Dauði Baldrs is Burzum's first album after Varg Vikernes got arrested; and as such it is the first one that was written exclusively in prison. Because he had no access to any other instrument, Varg could only use a synthesizer to record this album. Additionally, it is said he recorded the whole album on a simple tape recorder in his cell.
I really like this album. It's such grim cheesiness... Like Jawas dissecting a human corpse, or somesuch grimness. I do like the atmosphere, but I can see how a lot of people wouldn't like this album. Casio Black Metal. I reiterate - I really like this album.
This is a great album i agree, and i can see why most metal heads hate it, not exactly head banging stuff, but i have a passion for classical music and metal witch is why i love this album, the dark ambient sound was forced on varg but it was a nice change,

The only people I can see disliking this album is the "Clean vocals blah" asses. But I must say me and Grandma greatly enjoy this album on the rides to the local H-E-B.
This is a pretty good album. The absence of black metal overtones dont overshadow the haunting and hypnotic melodies that have been in burzum's career right from the start, as they are all present and correct on this album,as far as i can tell.
