This record blows. They jumped the bandwagon and released a album that is heavily leaned to grunge. And as I can't stand grunge for one bit I have a hard time finding anything positive to say here.

This is harsh, I listened to the album yesterday just because you gave this a 3. I don't remember this band doing something so bad to get such a rating. I will visit and revisit other albums in the next few days.

The 90s were tough/hard years for artists/bands that started in the 80s, same thing (just as bad) as the 80s were hard for 70s artists/bands.
Yes, this is grungy, but it's also bluesy in places, the playing is still good, some good guitar solos and a strong vocal performance.

I thought the two primary purposes for the internet were cat memes and overreactions.

Yes I understand your point of view, maybe it's too harsh. Objectively it's not a bad album. I can see the talent and if you like grunge then go for it. But still, I was bored out of my mind listening to this. And I gave it a fair chance, I tried finding something to like here.

I'm not much into grunge either, but I enjoyed this album, it's much more than just grunge. But I get why you disliked it.
