Primal Fear is back with the fifth studio album of their ascending career, and this time they going to prove the Metal community that they're more than a Judas Priest clone. Why the name Judas Priest keeps appearing everytime anyone mentions Primal Fear? Well, for starters the vocalist, Ralf Scheepers reminds me so much of Rob Halford that for moments is hard to tell who is who, other thing is that these guys are playing classic Heavy Metal, so comparisons always pop out.

Pretty good album again, but I start to feel that the band is trying force these almost 60minutes albums which they haven't got enough good songs for. Sure, it's got "Metal Is Forever", "Visions Of Fate", "Colony 13" and "Heart Of A Brave", but the amount of fillers is too damn high.

This album introduced me into deeper HM(sup genre) as I was like 19 something, I remmeber that video metal is forever, so I start did deeper as most of people I know and so on, I alone made that journey and it continues for me and never will stop. many rlp and ms ppl has lost and died in the journey
Musically its heavy but well I would say 1th band half ballad hit the nail

This album could be their best one. It's overall a really good collection of songs and with Randy Black on the drums he's giving Primal Fear excatly what they needed, a more skillful drummer that can give the songs that little extra. Visions Of Fate and Colony 13 are my favourites, both excellent in their own way.

A good album, Metal Is Forever is cringeworthy for me though.

"The Healer" is one of their best songs. The sick vocals and riffing in "Sea Of Flames" and the sing along pounding "In Metal" which deserves to be pumped up in the car are all excellent examples of what a solid effort this is. I keep returning to this one from time to time in the past years.
