Wow, haven't listened to this in a really long time, I love it; that's why i love the 70s, musicians experimented and did whatever they wanted. But who has the guts to tell Lemmy what to do anyway.

I actually prefer this to the the self titled debut. It has a raw and dirty sound, and it's also very bluesy, with a hint of psychedelia, it sounds more like it came from the mid 60's, rather than the 70's. It sounds nothing like what they went onto do later with Motörhead, but it still sounds very good, and I like it

Mid 60? Nothing sounded like that in 1965. Heaviest noisiest song back then was The Who's My Generation.

The sound kind of reminded me of bands like the 13th Floor Elevators, and in parts Quicksilver Messenger Service, not really the heaviness but more the bluesy guitar style, and tone.
