In my opinion, it is one of the most wonderful albums of the 1980's.
First of all, the sound is perfect, it is basically essence of whole classic heavy sound. In fact, same rule applies to the songs, lyrics and even the cover art. What's most important is the fact that this album shows that great Heavy Metal could have been born behind the Iron Curtain- the fact that music so powerful, fresh and well made was being made in those hard times is a huge achievement( same goes to Turbo and it's "Kawaleria Szatana". )
Skeptics and posers may say that " oh, it is a Maiden copy ", but I think Aria was and is just following the classic Heavy Metal path and is damn good at doing so!

Number 1 of 1989? Never heard it but i doubt it's better than Gutter Ballet or Skid Row's debut...

It's you again, Mountain King! It's a wonderful album. Give it a try. The two albums following this one may be even better. This also reminds me listen more carefully to Gutter Ballet.

Sure I will give it a try and i know i'll like it, just saying that an album like Gutter Ballet is hard to beat...
