Not a super impressive album and has plenty of rock / heavy metal cliches. Emerald is a quite good song but not quite the masterpiece like Thin Lizzy's Emerald. Shout! is kick-ass song w/ a little bit speed metal quitar-y; best song on the album to me, in fact. Too Late To Runaway is another speedier song and one of my favorites. Hand Of Fate and Masquerade are also both rather good songs. On the other hand, about half of the songs appear as nothing especially good and there's lots of generic riffing going. So, all in all, it's not a very good album but manages to leave a positive impression. Definitely worth checking out.
