Kick Ass! Arguably their most "Metal" album ever, this should have been entitled True As Steel instead

Metal Rasputin

It's metal alright, but pretty basic and primitive by today's standards. Every now and then there's great sounding riffs, and Doro has awesome voice despite her heavy accent. The lyrics are just kinda there, it's an early 80's German metal album, so don't expect anything Shakespearean from it.

Maybe first femfronted album, or should I say band, who inspired millions, but we need to wait 30 years till many more new bands rise from inspiration. Musically can be better , but it's OK, vocals gas bad mix, hi tech digital Studio can do better.

Actually Girlschool came before Walrlock. In the US, Lita Ford released her debut album in 1983. Lee Aaron in North America (she's Canadian, isn't she?) debuted before Warlock.

Sure I enjoy Warlock and Doro more than the artists mentioned above, but just saying...

You hot a point, but I forgot about those two. Crystal Viper and those who came after mention Doro as inspiration. I wonder if Suisse female force Burning Witches did take thier name from.

Warlock and Doro definitely influenced other artists in the hard'n'heavy scene. They may not have been the first female fronted band, but they were influential.
