Woaw, this is some surprising and unexpected change in musical direction from previous album. Sadly the resulting songs aren't highly good; this sounds like Metalliica after they stopped thrashing, maybe even discount Metallica in terms of the songwriting quality. As asually, I'm not a huge fan of the groove thrash approach, and I'm not a fan of the slower approach either, the band had something great going for three albums and they've lost it here, and also losing Guy Ritter's vocals hurts this outcome IMO. Not a total d-shit of an album by any means, but I can only feel dissapointed when listening to the album. There are some interesting moments spread around the songs, which doesn't result in any super impressive whole song though. "Twilight" is the song that sounds most coherent.
