Really amazing stuff. some of the lyrics can feel a bit heavy-handed, sure. but just try it out. that first track alone is so fucking intricate and bizarre. I don't think people should let Tourniquet's religion keep them from digging the phenomenal music they produce. i don't.

Yes this is like Arcturus of thrash, guitars and drums sound black metal at times, killer song.

Gave it a few listens, it's a long album and needs pretty long time to fully check out. It's definitely better than the previous two and more like a return to the thrashier style instead of the rockier explorations they were heading previously. I must mention first that I don't think that all these songs are super interesting or great songs, the 70 minutes length has the disadvantage of these songs that can be listened for once and forgotten. The first song, the title song and The Skeezix Dilemma Part II are the highlights to me, and there's other good songs too like The Tomb of Gilgamesh, Erratic Palpitations of the Human Spirit and Indulgence by Proxy. Immunity Vector is also pretty killer for an instrumental.

The guitars and drums are the best aspect on this album, but some of the vocals sound weak and some of the songwriting is boring. It's a good come back album to the quality the band used to have on the first three albums, not as good as Stop the Bleeding, but pretty good nonetheless. I have given a lot thought on this, on how the album rates, so at this point I don't see it quite as good as tier 1 albums. It's surprisingly good though.
