I didn't like at first, mainly because of vocals , but after listening to it for long while , i think it's a masterpiece , epic ambient acoustic guitars, and the songwriting is unbelievable , really a tearing album.

The only thing that keeps me from absolutely adore this band are the vocals... Fucking horrible. The only times they are good is when the dude is actually singing. All the growls and screams sounds absolutely off together with the beautiful folk music (which touches my heart quite a bit since I have visited the band's city many times as a boy) and those awful vocals just ruin the atmosphere.

This band could be trully brilliant if they just forget the growls/screams and fully embrace the folk music 100%, the metal parts are ok but the folk elements are heavenly.

Yeah, such a beautiful song that sadly have moments where I really want to put a knife in my ears. What a shame.
The section 5:25 to 9:00 is one of the most touching melodies ever for me, kind of fills me with nostalgia for my home country... but then... nah.

I play it on my acoustic guitar and it is almost as awesome to play it as it is to listen to it I actually don't mind the vocals, they are indeed bad but I never hated them like everyone seems to do

I can ignore them without a problem... but I despise them because I know what could have been. It's more of a frustration thing rather than the voals being *that* annoying.

I actually love both singing and the allmighty growls of Caudal... Hate the high-pitched shrieks and whining/sniveling, though
