The wait is almost unbearable... I'll definitely be a happy Metal fan when it is released. Can't wait for the official title and art to be revealed.

All my fav bands will release their albums in December (Moonspell, Draconian and Agalloch),,,i hope i can skip all the 6 months when i wake up tomorrow :

I'm sure it's worth the wait, though.

This is without a doubt my most anticipated album for probably the next couple years. Agalloch is one of my favorite bands of all time and Ashes my fav album, its simply spectacular.

God this better be brilliant.

I made a post on my twitter account directed at the twitter page of Agalloch's label named Profound Lore. The person who owns it posted a reply saying that an announcement concerning the new album will be made soon. To give some context, Agalloch was in a recording studio during June and July.

Agalloch's new album, named Marrow of the Spirit, finally has a release date(November 23rd).

It leaked so i already listened to it...first impression - i appeals to me to be much more "aggressive" than Agalloch i was used to...dunno yet, if i like it or not so much...

First impression after first listen: KICK ASS ,, Agalloch never let down.
the record, just like the previous ones, epic, atmospheric and yet heavy and blackish than previous ones [i guess that due to the addition of Aesop Dekkar behind drums].

And Black Lake Nidstang is one of the most amazing songs i ever heard in my life.

AGALLOCH FTW!!

It's leaked all over youtube, and it's a great album...as usual.

Yeah, this is really good. Fav tracks after my first listen are Black Lake Nidstang and Ghost of the Midwinter Fog. I still might prefer Ashes over this, but this did not disappoint in any way.

I hate the whispering though

His shrill yells or whatever you want to call them on Black Lake Nidstang are frightening, in a good way.

I have to admit, i am blown away... as an avid agalloch fan, one always expects greatness in their albums but even then.... I have been mesmerized by the bands ever improving act, and Marrow of the Spirit is no stranger to this, it delivers.... HARD...

Agalloch never cease to impress me with their wonderful creativity.
This album is amazing, as usual, atmospheric with great lyrix.
Black Lake NidstÜng is my fav.

Inconsistent I can understand if you say that it isn't an entity "like Ashes Against the Grain was" but it is not inconsistent at all, in fact it has a very good flow and sustains a certain mood through out the whole of it

Well, i finally checked out the album. On first listen I have to say I like it! I like the "raw" sound. I will need a few more plays in case I missed anything.
