I liked it. Crowbar deliver what we'd expect. It's not innovative or adventurous, but it's well-crafted, heavy and beautiful. I listened to it twice, so these are just my initial impressions. Favorite track for now: Liquid Sky And Cold Black Earth.

Another solid effort from Crowbar, even if it was six years after the last one. There isn't anything surprising here but it's all very engaging and well executed, 'Isolation (Desperation)' and the title track proving to be just as effective as the band's earlier material. The slower likes of 'Liquid sky and cold black earth' and 'Let me mourn' are slightly monotonous towards the end but this is more than made up for by the furious nature of 'The cemetery angels' and the mellow yet graceful 'Echo an eternity'. Let's hope that the band don't take as long to release the next album, if there is one.
