"The Visitor" is already the 19th studio album released by UFO… Quite incredible how this band manages to survive all over the years without being (unfortunately) the most recognized combo from United Kingdom. Some of their releases are legendary but some others a bit more common… In which category will be feature this new release? Let's talk a bit about it and do our conclusions…

The album is fairly mid-paced, bit it's a sign that the band haven't been abducted yet (see what i did there?). The guitar work has a groove to it that make it sound more like rock 'n' roll than on their 70's albums, but UFO are here to stay, that's clear.

I'm rather enjoying how the band sounds on this record. But the songwriting? Doesn't impress, I'm afraid. "Living Proof" is the only song that has some re-listening potential.
