2010 was a pretty rough year for metal... But probably among the worst news of 2010 was the break-up of Despised Icon.
Sucky deathcore bands come a dime a dozen, but a really great deathcore band are the rarest of breeds. Which is why Despised Icon will be sorely missed.

I found this album on a second hand store... Didn't buy it because the previous owner left some shitty lines on it. Shame. They were a great band.

That sounds hot.
You know sometimes the lines on CDs don't actually make it impossible to read. I have a few that look like Pollock paintings, and still work perfectly. But I wouldn't have bought it for more than five euros.
Shame they disbanded indeed. All the bands I didn't like and am rediscovering now have. I hate myself.
I never thought highly of Despised Icon. Don't know why the hell Willy fangasms about them. The Ills Of Modern Man is probably the one decent thing they've released.
