No offense but this is better as Sanctuary and Nevermore in some way.
Enjoyable album, the rooms I sleep, what I am, solders of the...,the mirror, and state of intoxication(a bit hip hop touch) are outstanding songs. same Last Rites

Comparison is hard to make, Sancturay and Nevermore may sound alike, ML does sound different to me as darker, more atmospheric, less PM band. No offense taken, as I'm not especially attached to any of these bands, Nevermore is almost unknown to me.

Tried it a couple of times and it's quite a good an album but the songs don't totally kick my ass. The album is rather long and some songs start to sound very similar already on the 2nd listen. Some of the riffs seem to repeat too much, I suppose this is a trademark groove metal thing, something which I don't greatly enjoy. These slower songs Alley Of Oaks and Last Rites stand out for some reason, there is a couple of other good ones too, but nothing as strong as Catacombs or Rumors of Rain.
