Nuclear Assault's debut album Game Over is one of the most influential albums in metal; not only is it a strong as nails thrash album, it would spur on the nascent crossover genre then in its infancy. Many of today's bands can trace an element of their sound back to this album; not being given to hyperbole, its approach and sound can be heard in bands like Power Trip and Hatebreed to name just two.

Municipal Waste are a rip-off of these guys?
If I didn't know better, I'd say these guys were a pale-faced clone of MW. So unbelieveably dull and lacking.

Obviously lacking the characteristics of a tier 1 album. This is one of the albums I used to own and I think this is pretty killer an album if we neglect the fact that it isn't one of the best. We are lacking something in the vocals or is it the production? Song-wise this is pretty competent but again, not one of the best. There's plenty of pretty great songs here, and if think in terms of genres, I don't think crossover would be out of the question.

Personally I think that the whole concept of nuclear weapons is a hoax and fear mongering to keep populations afraid. That makes this band kind of based on a fiction from the past. It has nothing to do with this music, of course, but I can't but think these guys fell for a hoax and based their whole concept on it. Then again there wouldn't be Nuclear Assault without nucular
