After many years I did spin this, as teenager I hated all after Dio era Rainbow, now I see it in different eyes , light or should I say hear whit different ears
Yes still commercial Rainbow, still not good, but not bad either, some songs are pretty good actually

At this point Graham didn't have the great over-the-top vocals he would get famous for but still he manages to lift this album. A solid release.

I do like this album, but Graham was the weakest link here IMO.

Oh that's intresting. What do you think of his performance in other bands like Impellitteri, MSG or Alcatrazz?

I think his vocals got better with time, he's fine in MSG, I don't listen to the other two bands anymore.
I still think Graham was not a good fit for Rainbow. Story goes he forced himself and his voice to sound grittier on the album, almost hurt his voice. before Rainbow, he was playing a sort of light pop-rock.

Wow haven't heard that before, pretty cool 70's disco song. Yeah i've also read that he just to really strain his voice and if he almost hurt his voice on this record I wonder how it went when he recorded No Parole from Rock 'n' Roll
