Onslaught have been a part of the early thrash era, and their previous albums bear signatures from hardcore punk accompanied with thrash and power sounds. The band paused their work by the end of the '80s until 2007's Killing Peace marked their comeback into the realm of thrash metal, a return that draws influence from the outlines of the thrash metal genre and delivers the outcome into a sharper and more definitive set.

My favourite thrash album of this year. "Killing Peace" was a great album but this one is awesome.

Probably the best thrash album of the year, the riffs and the groove are insane on this album.
They really nailed the right path here, I hope they will continue this path for now!

The sound of a band forgetting about the 80's and laying down some seriously heavy riffs and memorable songs to follow. This is thrash metal to the extreme. Makes me proud to be british....Kinda;)

Great ferocious sound. This may be their Tempo Of The Damned.

This album is excellent. They were good live, too, after seeing them a couple weeks ago (for the first time). Certainly one of the better thrash albums I've heard in a long, long time. In fact, I've listened to this one more than any other thrash album that's come out the past 15 years probably, but that's mainly a function of growing out of thrash and into death metal, etc. I think this one is as good as any of Onslaught's prior works and better than a shit-ton of stuff out there. Well worth a pickup and listen.
