If you've recently been in a situation where you wanted to show someone the true live sound of Sonata Arctica, you'd be in two minds, for their only official DVD is five years old, featuring a different lineup and sound, but on the other hand, the recent bootlegs come mostly from festivals and they don't capture the feeling and setlist of a single tour show. Time has finally come for a new DVD, which unfortunately doesn't come without a number of flaws, but manages to satisfy when the bottom line is drawn.

Lol, finally a live recording which it isn't Japan, I'm not anymore a really big fan of them like I used to be some time ago, but this band still has some place in my heart(yeah, cheesy), so, maybe I'll watch it when released, hope they play songs they've never played before or that they rarely play. And I hope that Tony improved on live singing.

As I heard they will play a lot of old songs too and some they haven't played in the last few years as well!

Sonata's new DVD in March; Dragonlands' new album in April...2011 is spoiling me rotten already.

Damn, if only Elias hadn't broken his hand, we would have had it by now. Or, if they haven't postponed it for the second time, it could have at least been filmed. Bad luck :/

I shall see it today... I'm very excited indeed.
Edit: Saw it and was very prepared to be extremely critical, but they blew me away. I never expected anything this good. The first 10 I ever gave to my favorite metal band, may it not be the last
Edit of edit: Now disappointed by some things, mostly by video editing.. But the ten stays, 'cause it's the most awesome thing I've heard this year.
