Albums great, but a little short when considering the folky acoustic/female vocal songs.

Same as with the last one... but again, these songs fit well in the middle of the album.

Another awesome album by Suidakra...but not as good as Crogacht still. At least after the first listen.

The song "Mag Mell" gives me a Blind Guardian-feeling, in a good way.

My expectations on this was quite low but after listening to the album several times it turned out to be the opposite. This album is great with everything (except that the album is only 40 min.) Also the album cover was little misleading. When i got the album i thought it was black metal. This is as good as Moonsorrow's recent release.

High praise indeed! I'll have to check this out at some point. I did like the couple of Suidakra songs I heard on last.fm....

Does anyone know who the incredible female guest vocalist is? I can't find it online anywhere but she is AMAZING with this music.

Didn't find this to be anything out of the ordinary. Its solid, but I had no intention of spinning it again after I finished it.

What a weird album. I'm relistening to it a lot lately, and I can't seem to shake the conclusion that this album is structurally flawed. This is a very loose concept album. However, Birog's Oath and Mag Mell serve as a rather long, awkward abstraction from the central core of the album. While the female singer was talented in Birog's Oath, the fact that she was given an entire track and placed in that position within the album is poor, in my opinion. From The Dark Mound onward, the tracks are solid but not spectacular, mindblowing stuff. Good effort, though.

Definitely a very solid disc in all their songs, the only downside I see is that it is a little short, you keep wanting more, because really you want more!. The inclusion of the two guest singers has been a success, really they make a very good work in this album. By the way, if you want classical music, look for the digipak edition =)
