Mikael Akerfeldt posts blog messages on his myspace (although I think he's stopped doing it due to being too busy) about what he was up to, and he said that new material was being written in some of his spare time. I'm just always excited to see what Opeth comes up with.

Yes, i guess they didn't pick that one because it appeared on The Round House Tapes, the selection was made with that intention, the only ones they couldn't avoid were those cases in which they have played the whole album or they are doing it now (like Harvest, The Leper Affinity, The Drapery Falls and Hope Leaves) those were unavoidable of playing again on the DVD. I'm sure is going to be awesome! i'd love to see April Ethereal and The Moor

It's a great thing they think their live-releases from the fan's aspect. The first disc is dedicated to their most liked release, which is nice 'thought i personally cherish Still Life or Morningrise as their masterwork. The other disc, as you demonstrated, is compiled in a very stylish manner without repetition from earlier releases. The package has a funny and respective cover arts which increases the thirst of waiting =positive thing. Highpoints (the assumed ones): The Moor, April Ethereal, Advent, Harvest. I also like the crazy looking ending -> Harlequin Forest & The Lotus Eater..

Holy jesus, this is one of the best live performance ever and the sound... OMG THE SOUND is SO GOOD, you can clearly hear the guitars, vocals AND the bass perfectly, this is ridiculously good! A REAL EARGASM my friends!

Yeah, it was funny that there were tech-failures (even before the lotus eater) but those problems really didn't do any harm to the whole spectacular show.
This DVD had a nice interview of Åkerfeldt too.

Guys who else noticed that Mikael death growls are a bit different on this live DVD? And by different I mean lacking depth and his usual definition. It is weird, I have been going over this for a while but the grunts on this live show sound so different from others (Roundhouse Tapes, or Lamentations).
