Theatres Des Vampires have always been a band that intrigued me in so many ways, even though they never took my breath away with any of their releases. After parting ways with front man Lord Vampyr the band put their formerly back-up vocalist and later on co-vocalist Sonya Scarlet as the main face of the band and started a new era in their music, ditching the black metal elements they tended to incorporate in their music, ready for a new start.

I hope this one is better than Anima Noir, that album was really blank and uninspired to me. Hope it's more like Nightbreed Of Macabria or Pain and Pleasure.

It cites the release date as December, third. Will that be the North American release date?

I do to, quite surprising, but great, way better than anima noir. Theatres Des Vampires have matured a lot, me likey a lot. Finally an album after a long time with that true gothic spirit that I miss in most bands nowadays.

I really wanted to like this album but it was just so weak. I think they've had their day and they were awesome but they need to pack up. The only album half descent since sonya took over has been pleasure and pain and from here on in I think its going to get a lot worse.
