This album is one of the weirdest things i have ever heard.. 70's psychedelic rock music with melodic black? Somehow I find myself like it pretty much, but I don't really like the vocals.. But damn, the music is interesting

Yeah they sound out of place, maybe a bit "goofy". The rest is good stuff, it deserves further and careful listens.

It's not as good as their past 2 albums were, but it's still excellent material as always. It sounds kind of like a mash-up of Imaginary Sonicscape and Gallows Gallery.

That was a... weird... album.
I don't know what the fuck was that, but that was good.
Some electronic elements is Black Metal... wow!

Damn!
This album was one hell of a crazy ride. Often times you are just bombarded by all kinds of instruments and sounds and the great thing about it is that in some weird way it still manages to feel cohesive. The transitions are done in a nice way with most of the songs slowly building up as they get progressively more wicked.
While listening to In Somniphobia I wasn't afraid of falling asleep, on the contrary, I was under the impression that I experienced a feverish dream. And I loved every second of it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this album. Great work by Sigh; great avantgarde work, nice and catchy tunes and some kind of twisted brutality to it.
Loving this.

Wow, I listened to this album not knowing anything about this band but I heard some of their music before and I didnt like it.. This album hits everything, multiple genres, vocals, speeds, atmospheres. Great album! I actually listened to it on repeat the first time I heard it! Many instruments going on you dont whats coming up next! I'm a big fan of Japanese music and the only "extreme" band I listened to was Dir En grey (and a dozen other Japanese bands I wont mention on a metal site.) This album is great! Come on, a Japanese that even covers Jazz music while still jammin some black metal.... What more could u ask for...!! It's awesome! 10/10
I think this will always be a great album that your average "metalhead" overpassed... Trust me.. Its fun! -cheers

Same. I've always thought of Sigh as being way too messy for my tastes. :/

As of now, "Amongst The Phantoms Of Abandoned Tumbrils" is in tough competition with "Slaughtergarden Suite" for being my favorite Sigh song. What a stunning progression of sounds... o_o

A brilliant album. One of my favourites this year. Sigh's music sounds as inspired as ever.

From what I've heard of Sigh, I think I enjoy this record the most, mainly due to its fun factor.
I love how they've fused all the different sounds and instruments together, specifically the saxophone, and how they've still kept a strange aura of eeriness, like some sort of an ancient Japanese god's curse is looming over you.
Plus, it could very well be some JRPG soundtrack.
