Man this is TOO catchy, and heavy to the Sludge/hardcore point in some parts. Amazing the difference in the change of guitarist, this album sounded very weird after listening to the early works.

I liked. Beat the boring Chapter VI imo.

Rating: 8 I remember listening to this album many years ago, when I was very young, and I didn't like it at all. Probably because it doesn't sound much like Candlemass. Now, after listening to it again after so many years, I can firmly say that I like it. It still doesn't sound like Candlemass (for obvious reasons), but I've become more mature and open-minded since then, I guess.
Everyone listening to this record should know that it initially was supposed to be the second Abstrakt Algebra album and only dire financial situation forced Leif Edling to re-record it and release it under the name of Candlemass.
