I hope It's not! RoF is one of the most talented bands nowadays. They shouldn't end up their career with this album!

Well, I think it would probably be a good thing to see the end of the saga. Things must end one day or another and it is best to do it before it becomes too ridiculous or whatever.
I wouldn't mind seeing the end of RoF too, but only if the members starts a new band together. Like what Arjen Lucassen did with Ayreon, when ending the saga and moving forward with Star One.

I'm quite sure Luca will continue his career on his own... or mabye his Dreamquest. Anyway I will miss RoF when they dissapear.

I'm reading early reviews on their official forums, someone who got the promo from Nuclear Blast yesterday, and it seems to be a very shocking but also very promising RoF album!
The guy says they're getting darker (like more harsh vocals) and are adding a lot more progressive elements in their music.
I quote here: "Some will hate this album, I'm afraid... but it may be the biggest surprise of the year in terms of "band evolution". Really."

This album is incredible. Blew me away. It's darker, heavier, and has a couple progressive elements in it, but it still has that Rhapsody sound. The chorus on the title track is one of the most anthemic they've done in a long time.
As for the final, long song... amazing. Perfect ending to 14 years of fantasy!

Phew I'm overwhelmed with all the Rhapsody releases lately. First they vanish for four years and now they suddenly release two CD's and an EP in just over a year. I've only just bought their previous album and not even the EP yet. Gonna download this (of course buy it soon too) and compare both albums.

A good album,but i'm a little disappointed,
i think they'll never make another album as great as SOEL DoV.....

It is very sad to see the band that introduced me to power metal skirt so close to black metal. every one else here does great as musicians except lione. I mean dont get me wrong i do like aggressive vocals but more like thrash aggressive not black\death aggressive.The few songs they had done in the past like when demons awake or the black order where great but this extensive use of these screams is very dissapointing, one of the biggest reasons i listen to power metal is for the operatic vocals like Dio,Dickinson and Halford, hope they dont continue down this path

I usually dont listen to power metal except it was something symphonic power stuff like epica.im not sure what i feel about this album.but i liked Aeons Of Raging Darkness very much

For me this is quite a letdown, instead of "grande finalle" of Dark Secret saga...assuming Luca Turilli's new album scored 7 in my review, this would have like 5  decent cover art though

Definitely has a more progressive vibe and orchestration seems to be less prominent, though it has some kickass guitar tracks and catchy choruses.
Probably my least favorite by RoF but its still decent.
