Oh my God...
The track name and the single artwork definitely reminds me of the Opeth of yore. If that's the case, I'm super stoked for the upcoming album since Watershed, although enjoyable, wasn't that imposing to my ears...

This.
The track, which was originally featured on the God Of War: Blood & Metal digital EP (2010), will see its first and only physical incarnation with this special release. Side B of the 7" is etched with the band's logo and jacket artwork was created by longtime Opeth collaborator Travis Smith, with direction from Mikael Åkerfeldt.

I enjoy this song, but I must say that it is absolutely not Opeth at their finest. It felt rushed, as if it was thrown together in a couple jam sessions, which is impressive to say the least, but just not magnificent like most of Opeth's carefully composed work.
That said, it's a pretty sick little track.

I only heard it once...long ago. And it wasn't that memorable.

Sorry but this song is horrible.

Isn't this the song they did for God of War game? This was released long ago...
The song is not bad, but in my point of view it's a very simple Opeth song that was made in a hurry with a "meh, take this and consider yourself lucky" kind of feeling.

I have the mp3. I'm definitely in love with it. If you listen to Heritage and tack it on the end of their other bonus tracks, it fits right alongside them and makes for a good finale for the album. After all, this song was written when they were heading in the direction of Heritage, so they had a similar frame of mind when writing/recording it.
