Rating: 6 Oh my god !!!! What fucking shit they're gonna release. Acoustic LOL !!!

What a piece of shit this release will be.
Who wants acoustic bullshit from a band like Gamma Ray?

And what about this: Rebellion in Dreamland - karaoke version.
What are they trying to do? Following Helloween's example and pissing on their legacy? Or being as lame as they can be? When I heard "To The Metal", I thought "this band starts to suck like pretty much every other Powermetal band, it seems". I think this confirms that I was right to think like that.

You know, it's a blessing I completely lost interest in Powermetal and moved to more extreme horizons a while ago. I'd be ashamed to admit in front of other metalheads that I still like this poser genre (that is, IF I'd still like it, which is not the case).
Powermetal sucks and is a pathetic joke nowadays.

Rating: 6 Hope they new DVD + CD will be better than this shit ! It's good that they get to fans choose setlist for the gigs but they're was too many lame songs to choose.

I don't see what the problem is with them releasing an e.p with a couple acoustic songs some people take this too serious.

It's not only this. Try to get a bigger picture and see it as a whole. Everything that concerns Gamma Ray since a while hints at the band quickly going downhill.
Tornado Of Souls - 26.03.2011 at 13:38
I agree their material hasn't been that original recently but releasing an e.p with some live tracks and acoustic versions isn't really something I have a problem with I'm interested to hear Rebellion In Dreamland in acoustic form.

Well, I LOVE POWER METAL, AND THE EURO-FLOWERISH ALSO! I don't feel ashamed for it, my friend, because in this genre I found the best melodies for my tastes. I just think you're goin'too rough in your viewpoint as if everyone that like this genre were brainless or something. I can listen perfectly the early Rage works as the new Rhapsody of Fire EP (to tell a example) because in these records there are melodies and voice performances worth to be listened (at least for my musical tastes). I also like the extreme stuff (Death is amazing!), and just loving Power Metal doesn't mean I'm a blind in musical tastes.

I understand you dislike so much when bands lose their power, but there are people we like just the melodies and other things we see in the records (and I admit To The Metal! was not their best effort, but also it wasn't so bad as you paint it).

Is just the form we see the music

Why is the releasedate set on May 31st? I already bought it via the regular channels.

And despite I'm not a Gamma Ray fan, I like this EP.

hey bitch, remember that you have enjoyed power metal before and what you felt about that never disappears! So remember i was in the same thing of you long time ago but your roots are your roots! My roots are power Metal and if you in your "past life" enjoyed power metal i don't see the reason to fuck the style down!!! Think on that! and other thing, you may not like it now but there's guys here that enjoy Power Metal very much! So what you have to like or not is you opinion and not make others dislike the kind!!! Peace

Yeah, really don't see the problem and i don't see how surprising could be! It's gamma ray, it's good enough! But like i always say, likes shouldn't match!
