Essentially 30 minutes of technical wankery. It's like they tried to mask the lack of decent song-writing material with fast riffing and Mounier's iconic blasting. DiSalvo sounds weak in comparison to Lord Worm. Not even "Cold Hate, Warm Blood" can save this album from being awful.

Great album, I'm actually listening to this right now and I forgot how good it was, flawless drumming by Flo and even though I like Lord Worms vocals a whole lot better Mike still does pretty good job. Great technical death metal in my opinion!

Another excellent Cryptopsy album. The new vocalist DiSalvo does a good job in replacing Lord Worm, and it's interesting to know some of the other band members added vocal effects too. The instrumentation here is unsurprisingly solid albeit technical, and although the album's length flies by seamlessly, there's enough on here to enjoy. 'White worms' and 'Faceless unknown' are brilliantly intense.
