So there I was, minding my own business, casually strolling around Metal Storm like I always do, when suddenly the brakes came to a screeching halt. I let out a gasp of disbelief as my eyes were transfixed on the word Haven. "Is this really possible?", I thought out loud, "No review for an album of one of my most favourite bands ever? I simply love this album. It has a special charm. A good mix of straight-forwardness and deep emotionality.

Slowly but surely, this is becoming my favourite Dark Tranquillity album, pretty much for what NocturnalStalker said. I'd be inclined to say it's got a bit of a gothic touch to it.

It's a very solid album for sure. It's not as consistent as say Character, but songs like Ego Drama and At Loss For Words make sure it feels at home with all the other quality and interesting albums DT released in the few years before and after this one
