So there I was, minding my own business, casually strolling around Metal Storm like I always do, when suddenly the brakes came to a screeching halt. I let out a gasp of disbelief as my eyes were transfixed on the word Haven. "Is this really possible?", I thought out loud, "No review for an album of one of my most favourite bands ever? Such insolence cannot remain unpunished!" (a bit melodramatic on my part, but please, do read on?), and hence this review saw the light of day, to "complete the circle" of sorts?.

I simply love this album. It has a special charm. A good mix of straight-forwardness and deep emotionality.

Slowly but surely, this is becoming my favourite Dark Tranquillity album, pretty much for what NocturnalStalker said. I'd be inclined to say it's got a bit of a gothic touch to it.

It's a very solid album for sure. It's not as consistent as say Character, but songs like Ego Drama and At Loss For Words make sure it feels at home with all the other quality and interesting albums DT released in the few years before and after this one

Not one of their best, and ine of their least memorable imo, I found it a little too dreary tbh, it was maybe a little too electronic this time, and lacking the heaviness and interesting riffs of their past albums, but the songwriting was decent enough, there's alot of emotion in the songwriting. "Ego Drama", "Rundown" and "At Loss For Words" are the stand out tracks here for me.
