One of my favourite heavy metal bands and one of the best shows I ever watched. The energy is impressive. I can only bang my head.

Kinda mediocre release, but I suppose this is as good as one could expect from the band in 2009. Yeah, it's Running Wild, but for me it's Rolf and three new guys. I mean if this was supposed to REALLY be a farewell show or the band's final show like it says on the DVD, then I would expect this to be some kind of special show with maybe including some classic line up of the band or at least some ex members as guests. But there are none of them. I'd say the performance by the band is ok, but pretty dull, though I can image it could be way worse. At least the track list is really good here. For the other content of this DVD, I wish there would be more footage from tours and studio sessions, because there's only a few minutes of it. The interviews have no subtitles and my German is not that great

Calling this as the farewell show still bothers me though. I mean it's not cool bullshitting people about retiring, and coming back after only two years. Wouldn't that make this release a paradox that shouldn't even exist, at least not for the time being?
